The Magical Product Swap!

The day is finally here for the magical product swap!! This super fun idea from Jessica Stanford allowed teachers to select a TpT product from their partner's store.  I was paired up with Amy Blanton from the Kindergarten Center!
The Kindergarten Center
She has a great store and I decided to review her "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Math and Literacy Centers" since we do a big Laura Numeroff author study.  I love getting new ideas!!
It's 91 pages and packed full of fun activities (4 math and 4 literacy).
*Counting Cookies (Count the cookies and match to the correct number)
*Cookies and Milk (Tens Frame Addition)
*Odd or Even Cookie Sheets
*Patterning (Pattern Cards and Pattern Pieces)

*Word Match Up (Match words from the story with the correct picture)
*Flow Map Cards (Sequence the story)
*Cookie Rhymes (Match the cookies to the glass of milk with the same word family)
*Beginning Sounds (Put a clothespin on the letter that each object begins with)

Here's a snapshot of a few of the fabulous activities!!
For Word Match Up, she included story words with the adorable Scrappin Doodles clip art.  There are whole cards (with both word and picture) as well as a cut apart set (perfect for pocket charts and matching up the vocabulary word!)

Counting Cookies is a fun math activity where students can count cookies to match the number the mouse is holding.  Numbers 1-10 are included... and lots of cookies!

The Flow Map cards are perfect for sequencing in a pocket chart (whole class in a work station) and would be great for retelling in order as well.

Cookies and Milk is another math activity where students match an addition sentence with the correct ten frame.  (PS The cookie and milk ten frames are so cute!!)

The Patterning station activity gives extra patterns practice--with images from the story!

Plus 3 more!!  And each activity includes a recording sheet.
Be sure to check out Amy Blanton's blog and store to see all the wonderful things she does!!

Thanks Amy for sharing this fun activity and Jessica for putting together the swap!
Don't forget to hop over to Amy's blog to see her review of one of my products.  :o)
